when was cuffs scheduled
cuffs was  scheduled at 8 pm bbc1 Wednesday night pre watershed
what was the reason for scheduling
a) at that time
they scheduled it at 8 prime time pre watershed so they had to relate it to the audience and real life while keeping it family friendly for the audience
b)on that day
they scheduled it on that day as EastEnders wasn't on so they needed a new engaging show to entertain the public on a Wednesday night
c)they wanted to recreate the success of their rival it's show the bill
they could watch it on demand or live if they watch it on demand they could watch it at any time but they could watch it pre watershed which the ending isn't too suitable for children

how could an active audience interpret cuffs
audiences could challenge and ask why they have no swearing and gore and violence because they might not know about watershed they could also complain that they show a person commit suicide as its not watershed time just yet and they could ask why they don't have it on after 9
